Ophelia Avery (b. 1981) was a pure-blood wizard and one of the dark wizard daughters. The only child and daughter of Mr. Avery and Isolde Avery (née Black). His father was a Death Eater and loyal to Lord Voldemort, but his mother despised it and later died of a mysterious illness, which leaves no explanation from the Ministry itself, but others believe she was killed by her husband. Ophelia was raised by the Malfoy family and only by relatives, as her father had fled the Ministry at the time.




Hogwarts years (1991–1997)


Ophelia attended the same year as Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy. She's an expert at charms, versatile in every duel she's in, and she can apply powerful protective enhancements. 



















Magical abilities and skills

  • Love: Ophelia's greatest power of all was her ability to love despite being raised by the Malfoy family, which treated her like their own daughter and showed her affection, especially by Narcissa, who always wanted a daughter.
  • Dark Arts: Ophelia was one of the few non-Dark wizards, unlike her father, but she was highly proficient in the Dark Arts at all levels. However, like her father, she was able to perform dark magic and dark charms, but did not use them likely because she despises dark magic.
  • Charms: Her talent was proven by her ability to perform advanced charms from a very young age. She's an expert at charms, versatile in every duel she's in, and she can apply powerful protective enhancements.
  • Defence Against the Dark Arts: Ophelia was extremely adept at Defence Against the Dark Arts, having mastered all manner of spells.
  • Duelling: Despite Ophelia's young age, she was an accomplished and very skilful duellist. She was able to single-handedly defeat some of the most formidable Death Eaters.
  • Occlumency and Legilimency: Taught to her by Prof. Lorden Morte, she could read the minds of others and block any mental influence.
  • Wandless and Non-Verbal Magic: Ophelia is an expert at performing magic without a wand or incantations. She could do it of her own will. She could lift with her mind as well.
